ignite hangs during boot process
Device mapping table
blk0 : Acpi(HWP0002,100)/Pci(1|0)/Scsi(Pun0,Lun0)
blk1 : Acpi(HWP0002,100)/Pci(1|0)/Scsi(Pun1,Lun0)
I setup a dbprofile and ran the following
lanboot -dn test select
I selected the appropriate lan card and selected to install an 11.31 system.
It downloads the initial install file and when it gets to the kernel boot, it hangs.
Current firmware revisions
MP FW : H.03.07
BMC FW : 73.19
EFI FW : 05.41
System FW : 01.70
Any ideas?

Re: ignite hangs during boot process
what about the server model?.
Check the LAN speed of your Ignite server. It should match with client speed.

Re: ignite hangs during boot process
Always a good idea to make firmware as current as possible before starting.
From the EFI shell.
help lanboot
You probably need to do lanboot select to get the system to boot off a network card.

Re: ignite hangs during boot process
I have 2 console definitions:
CONSOLE CONFIGURATION
Index Primary Type Device Path
----- ------- ----- ----------
1 NC Serial Acpi(PNP0501,0)
2 P Serial Acpi(HWP0002,0)/Pci(2|1)
I disabled the first one as when I tried to boot from that console, the system hung at the
