Ignite link permissions

When restoring a node from an ignite backup tape, all symbolic links permissions are changed from 777 to 755, and owner/group changed to root/root. Is ther a way to retain the original permissons and owner/group? We are running HP-UX 10.20.

What version of Ignite/UX are you running? Have you tried the latest? A.3.7.95 is the latest for 10.20.
