Re: Ignite make_net_recovery failed

Shalom,

Looks like your EFI configuration has been deleted or the disk it was on has been damaged.

Check disk/lvm configuration for problems and then prepare to re-run the job. I suspect the problem disk is already displayed in the error message.

Re: Ignite make_net_recovery failed

Without knowing the version of ignite you are running may I suggest that you update to the latest and greatest rev.

99% of ignite issues are old and can be fixed with less effort by simply keeping up to date.

Re: Ignite make_net_recovery failed

hi,

seems to be an issue with the Client also.

I think when the save_config for the client is running it is not getting valid root disk and root VG and swap config for the client that u are trying to make an archive of.

Could u please check on the client #vgdisplay -v vg00
#strings /etc/lvmtab
#swapinfo -tam
#ioscan -fnCdisk
#swlist -l product -l bundle | grep -i ignite

also please give the O/p of the last command as run on the Ignite server.

It is sure that the updated version of Ignite solves many issues but this requires few checks on the Client also.
