Ignite make_tape_recovery errors
I am using Ignite-UX Revision B.3.7.95
to create OS archive tapes. I have configured one server with a tape to be the master Ignite system. I have created clients for all the systems I want to create tapes for. I tried creating a tape for the master first and it fails with a large number of errors of the following:
ERROR: Duplicate definition for the product "DCE-Core", beginning at
line 42984. This product defines the same values for the same
version attributes as another product or bundle contained in
the root (installation). Those attributes are
DCE-Core,l=/opt/dce,r=B.11.11,a=HP-UX_B.11.11_32/64,v=HP
The duplicate product has been marked as corrupt, and its tag
attribute changed to "_product_42984".
This is just an exaple, as there are 50 such errors for different products.
Finally there is a final error as follows:
* Creating System Configuration.
* /opt/ignite/bin/save_config -f /var/opt/ignite/recovery/client_mnt/0x0
0306E26D184/recovery/2004-10-02,19:11/system_cfg vg00 vg01
save_config: error - cannot determine lv "/dev/vg00/pswap" usage via fstyp
ERROR: /opt/ignite/bin/save_config failed
and the creation fails. What is causing this problem?
I have attached the full recovery.log file from this attempt.

Re: Ignite make_tape_recovery errors
Hi Kevin,
Could you run next command ?
# swlist -l fileset -a state
looks like you have some corrupt filesets on your server.
Best regards,
Robert-Jan
