Ignite recovery seems to hang

Hi,

I'm trying to recover a host using and ignite server (I boot up from a CD) and everything looks fine till the process seems to hang:


* Download_mini-system: Complete
* Loading_software: Begin
* Installing boot area on disk.
* Enabling swap areas.
* Backing up LVM configuration for "vg00".
* Processing the archive source (soroka: OS Archived on
17.Sep.2008_17:05).
* Fri Dec 05 15:57:50 EST 2008: Starting archive load of the source
(soroka: OS Archived on 17.Sep.2008_17:05).
* Processed 10% of archive
* Processed 20% of archive
* Processed 30% of archive

It doesn't progress from here...

Any idea what's happening or where can I take a look to see what's going on?

Quite similars to the ones that caused the server to became unsuable.

Maybe a HW issue?¿?¿?

Hi Jose,

This show the free space issue.

Please make the disk has enough free space.

It has just finished with some more errors:

* Processed 80% of archive

* Processed 90% of archive

* Completed 100% of archive

ERROR: Cannot load OS archive (soroka: OS Archived on 17.Sep.2008_17:05)

I ignore the error and it seems that everything finished correctly and the server boot up.


I checked the filesystems and they are all ok and no filesystem is full ?¿?¿?¿?¿

The installation was successful, right.

how about the configurations and setup ,whether everything is working fine.

Then probably you can take a ignite back and store the latest and complete backup in the ignite server.

Please check if the server has any hardware related disk back plane or the disk could be faulty
