ignite restoration in PA-RISC
I have a concern for the restoration of ignite. The below is the steps upto my knowledge, pls let me know if i missed out any thing in restoration from the tape as well as from the ignite server.
Restoring from the ignite tape
1.reboot your system
2.interrupt in the In the PDC mode and search the boot path by the command sea after it will show all the possible boot device and mostly the tape is shown as
sequential media access and try to boot as bo "path of the boot device"
3.After a few minutes, youтАЩll be asked Interact with IPL? Press: n
4.When the initial Ignite-UX screen appears and select the Run a Recover Shell
5. Choose either Guided Installation
6. Complete all other required information and select Go! to begin the recovery.

bo ipaddress of the ignite server or
"boot lan.192.168.20.30 install "

6. Complete all other required information and select Go! to begin the recovery.

Actually you will probably want to run an advanced installation.
Looks like we're working with PA-RISC here, but verify that for me will you?
I think your plan will work, do consult the documentation.
Also, you posted a lot of questions today. I made a good faith effort to answer them, as did others. Please don't forget to post requested follow up information and to award answers as you feel appropriate.

You want to install HP-UX, you don't want to run a recovery shell.
So check step 4.
