Under the Action tab in an Ignite server, I try to Add New Client for Recovery:

The following error appears:

Do you have tftp services enabled on client? Check /etc/services file.

Hi,

You need to have remsh access to the client. Confirm the remote shell access.

Re: Ignite Server: Error when trying to add new client for recovery

vierify two things on the client:

can the ignite server do a remsh ? See /.rhosts file.

can the client reach the ignite server?
See /etc/hosts

also, check /etc/exports file and run exportfs -av

forgot to clarify, you do the exportfs on the ignite server host.
