Im installing an ignite server and I have a few questions.
1. I already installed the server with no problems.
2. I now want to install clients but if im understanding correctly the installation wizard tells me that it will destroy all data on the disks of the client.
Is this correct?

Re: Ignite server
You can install ignite clients with no problem. It overwrites the old ignite version if you have that on your system.
So that data will be lost but that must be no problem for you.
please keep the same version of ignite on the iognite server and clients.

Re: Ignite server
Hi Fabian,
what do you mean with 'to install clients'.
If you use this from the ignite server, then of course you will make a new installation of hp-ux at the client. So obviously you will destroy all data on the disks of the client.
If you want to take an image of a client, then you have to install ignite at the client, too, and run 'make_sys_image'.
To make an image of clients, maybe following threads will help you:
