Ignite service service guard environment
In a service guard environment, i have created volume group and cluster config file.I want to create ignite package.
When I install ignite software, it is distributed /var,/opt filesystems or is it necessary I install ignite in a new volume group which i created.
After the creation of cluster config file and cluster package file, how to link the ignite files to cluster config file and cluster package.
i hope that helps. Sometimes the service guard documentation is not clear.

Re: Ignite service service guard environment
This means that you will need to create a package that mounts the Ignited images and presents an IP that represents the image server.
I did this once as an exercise, and created a document which is available for customers who have a software contract. Check out document ID UMCSGKBRC00014852
TITLE: Creating an Ignite-UX server package for Serviceguard

Re: Ignite service service guard environment
Thanks for letting me know. I do have the HP Support.
I saw the document, I was thinking of using ignite service rather than the reloctable IP address. Because I have to arrange for the IP address. anyway I'll try using ignite service, if it dosent work i'll use IP address.
Thanks
