Ignite Unix for Superdome
I am now using B 3.5.89 Ignite Unix server and client for our Ignite environment. Our superdomne and ignite server is on different lan segment and I have setup a ignite boot helper on another 23 segment as well. Somehow it fail to boot, any body know the reason? Is it support Superdome? Thx.
Bgds,
Gordon

Re: Ignite Unix for Superdome
In either case you should see some activity on the ignite server from the booting client.
What does exportfs -av and cat /etc/exports contain?
I've been using ignite for about a year + half with superdomes.. so I guess your version supports the SD, once you installed the multi OS ignite bundle.
Later,
Bill

Re: Ignite Unix for Superdome
Thx for yr info. In fact our Superdome contains 2 domain. I have successfully created the Ignite image on BOTH domain, either interactively create it through GUI or from client side run make_net_recovery command. Both OK, only problem is cannot bootup...
Our Ignite server /etc/exports is
/var/opt/ignite/clients -anon=2
/home/sysadm/ignite/archives -anon=2
I have modified a little bit from the default ignite path.
Bgds,
Gordon
