IGNITE: Unkown host

HI

I have recently built a new server on a box that has been backing up to my ignite server (With a differnt host name although all this old configuration on the ignite server was removed).

I have now installed ignite C.6.0.109 on the new server. I can run a make_tape_recovery but as soon as I try to run make_net_recovery i get the following error

ERROR: XXXXX is an unknown host

now xxx is our ignite servers hostname. iam able to rlogin to this server.

i have added entries in .rhosts on both servers, i have removed the server iam trying to back up from the ignite server and i have reinstalled ignite but it still doenst work.

every time i run make_net_recovery it doenst reconise our ignite server, but for every other command it does.

I have run the ignite from the client and from the ignite server and i get the smae error message.

Any ideas what could be wrong or where i can look for more info?

Hi,
Have you tried to run Ignite from the Ignite server ? Start the Ignite GUI and select "Add new client for recovery" from the Action menu.
