Ignite UX booting from the LAN with RP7410

Hi all,

We have a server which is an RP7410 which I need to rebuild with ignite due to a root disk problem. The issue is I want to boot from the LAN so I don't trash the mirror. I have done this many times on other servers. The server is on the same subnet as the ignite box. The LAN card is a HP A6794-60001.
When I do a boot lan.XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX install it fails it can't communicate with ignite server. I am wondering if this issue is specific to the 7410 or LAN card. Has anyone seen this.

Thanks

The firmware only understands the built-in LAN (part of the MP/GSP card). That is the LAN card that must be configured and connected to the Ignite server subnet.
