IGNITE UX limits

Hi, is there a maximum number of managed clients for an Ignite UX Server HP-UX 11iv3 on Itanium?

We are using network Ignite for more than 100 servers. I don't know for such limits.
Only performance issues may have with more clients.

We must decide an infrastructure for about 2000 systems and propose to customer how many Ignite Servers are needed. It could be valid propose 1 Ignite Server every 500 systems? Ignite is used for provisioning and backup.

It depends from the schedule. If all client will create archives at the same time think about bigger solution. We have about 50 clients running at the same time and process took about 1h. If you have proper planning you can reduce number of Ignite servers.
Also using proper network configuration will speed up the process - gigabit cards/switches, separate LAN for Ignites.
