Ignite_UX Versions
We have an 11.23 box as our Ignite Server. It is running Ignite v6.8.152.
We have an old 11.11 machine with Ignite v5.4.5 on it. I have tried to do a make_net_recovery, and get the error that the version is too old. I have since downloaded and installed the latest version of Ignite from software.hp.com which is 7.5.142 and installed it on the client. Now the error says that the version is too new.
I dont want to upgrade the server just yet as we have another 60+ servers which are currently running v6.8.x.
Is there somewhere that I can download Ignite v6.8.x to install onto the client (HP-UX 11.11), as I can only find the latest version from software.hp.com.

Re: Ignite_UX Versions
More to add, here is doc showing all supported versions of IG UX: http://docs.hp.com/en/IUX/docs/Supported_Versions.pdf
And version you mentioned is our of support and will not be available for download.
You must look for some member or person our here who holds this copy in his collection or some older medias.
Else you can contact HP, open a call and request for the same from their some older ftp depots.

Re: Ignite_UX Versions
Here's what you can do.
On your Ignite server, try 'swlist -l depot' and see if there is any depot named like '/var/opt/ignite/depots/recovery_cmds'.
If not, you can create it with the '/opt/ignite/lbin/pkg_rec_depot' cmd.
Remove any other Ignite version from your target. Then install this 'IUX-Recovery' bundle on the client. This should allow you to create a recovery image with matching versions.
This is covered on page 4 of this whitepaper: http://docs.hp.com/en/5992-1977/5992-1977.pdf
