Re: IGNITE-UX
I order to get information on Ignite server installing and admin, try HP Instant Information CD:
/HP-UX 11.0 Operating System/Ignite-UX Adminisrator Guide

Re: IGNITE-UX
For software (via download) and documentation go here:
http://www.software.hp.com/products/IUX/index.html
The installation of Ignite is done with 'swinstall' after you download. Installation is quick and does not require a reboot.
To make a "recovery" tape of vg00 from which you can reinstall your OS (for instance to resize /stand) do the following:
For vg00, I use the following:
# make_tape_recovery -x inc_entire=vg00 -I -v -a /dev/rmt/0mn
You can search this Forum for a wealth of tips on using Ignite.
Regards!

Re: IGNITE-UX
As pointed above you can download the Ignite-UX software from the HP software depot if you don't have it with you. The file size could be upto 60+ MB. On the docs on installing and builiding a ignite depot u can refer to the HP manual Part No. B2355-90704 printed in Dec 2000. This will help you in installing Ignite software on your system as well as all aspects of Ignite Server administration.
