Ignite vparboot
Hi ,
I am trying to boot vpar from Ignite server.
But I am unable to boot vpar. I have already created archive by using this ignite server.
We have another Ignite server and I can able to boot this vpar using it.
Both Ignite server has same version.
I don't think we need to export /opt/ignite/boot directory.
root@fhp005b # vparboot -p fhp020a -I 150.234.133.47,/opt/ignite/boot/Rel_B.11.11/WINSTALL
vparboot: Booting fhp020a. Please wait...
vparboot unable to boot fhp020a: Unable to receive install file from host "150.234.133.47".
Any suggesstion , please.
Thanks
Abhijeet

Re: Ignite vparboot
Hi Abhijeet,
Seems like your ignite server is not configured for this vpar client,
Edit /etc/bootptab and populate the required fields including the MAC address of the client,Ensure that the required services for ignite(tftpd and bootpd) are enabled.
Regards
John
