"printing problem"

One of server which Brand:HP9000 Model:rx6600,
OS version:HP-UX 11.23. The model of this printer: HP 2420n. I have configred printer properly from /usr/sbin/setnetlp. When i print any page, it can print successfully but at the time of printing it prints user's banner page which is as follows

root user:(No user info in /etc/passwd)
Request:NZMPRN1-0
OPtions:
Model Language Default is PCL

For details on options, print a file and specify "-ooptions"

options summary
--------------------------------\
*************PCL Mode****************
Horizontal/ Vertical Pitch: 10,12,c, fp#, hsi#, lpi#

Page Orientation/Dividing : raw,nroff,pr,rev,ascii

when i print any documents from any user firstly it prints user related page then print required doc.I send a copy as an attached file

You haven't stated a problem. Do you want to remove the banner page? You can have your users use: -onb

Hi,


If you want to remove the banner page please follow the below step using sam.

select the printer name - modify the additional properties - select 3r options - banner page off- and exit.

Hi Taifur

Go to /etc/lp/interfaces and there you will see priter file just edit that file and search for banner replace " no banner " = Yes
and save the file.After that it will not print banner.
