Illegal instruction(coredump)

Hello,

When I try to start the rpcd deamon I get the following error "Illegal instruction(coredump)"

When you don't bother to identify your OS version, it makes it very difficult to search for patches. I would go to the patch database and enter your HP-UX version and search on rpcd and ilegal instruction OR SIGILL and see what turns up.
If it ain't broke, I can fix that.

Hello,

As Clay suggested, most probably you need a correct patch. What was the real issue when you tried to start the rpcd daemon. You were having some other problem related with rpc.
