imageview/HP4550N color problems

'm having a problem using Image View on an HP-UX 10.2
system. I can get it to print but the colors are coming out too dark when it prints from imageview and I can't get it to print from ghostview. I wonder if this must be a problem with the shared print driver I am using. Can anyone tell me what driver I should use? I'm currently using the modelscript LJCOLOR.
Thanks for your help!! !

Hi,

HP's LaserJet printer 4550N has compatibility issues in HP-UX. Check this site for a complete product specification and drivers:

Re: imageview/HP4550N color problems

Hi

net_ljcolor or ljcolor should be ok

make sure this is in the interfacescript at
/etc/lp/interface/model.orig/printername

PRINTMODEL="lj4500"

Re: imageview/HP4550N color problems

Hi

It may be imageview

Try this . It is on the net available

- ImageMagick

Another set of programs available for free with source.
Enables conversion, manipulation, and viewing for many
image formats. Uses Motif, so it generally matches the
rest of the desktop. Very high quality.
