b) how can I fix this?
This is occuring on a V-class server running at HP-UX 11.00.
Value of nproc parameter is 3000.

Solution(Where shared objects are located)
Increasing shmmni from 200 hundred to 1000 will triple the capacity of the
quad4map. If quad4map overflow messages persist, increase it even further.
another solutions on 11.00 is to use 64-bit addressing or memory windows.
But I suspect this is the same information as you've been told in UKRC call ref : 1200378829 my appologies if this is a case of mistaken identity Gavin ;)
