Increase memory in VM guest !!

Hi all ,

How can I in crease memory to the VM guest.

I have assisgned 8 gb memory to each vm guest ,
I want to make it 16 gb.

I have more then 80 gb memory.

I got the following information for you.

In the vm host:
hpvmmgmt -P vmoracle -x dynamic_memory_control=1

In the vm guest:
hpvmmgmt -V -l ram
hpvmmgmt -x ram_target=28500M

Hi,

I think the guest must be down to perform these operations:

hpvmmodify -P -r 16G

If the guest is using dynamic memory also use -x ram_dyn_max=8G -x ram_dyn_target_start=8G

I am a bit confused here because I want to increase physical memory.

I tried hpvmmodify command with -r option.

Hi,

Just run hpvmstatus -P . You will see all attributes for the VM, including dynamic memory ranges.
