Increasing system information available via SNMP
I've applied PHSS_20146, but the only information I can see with snmpwalk are the likes of the interfaces, ip and snmp trees.
What I need is information regarding CPU activity, memory usage, available disk space and so on. If possible I'd also like to extract information from the FC_60 array we've got attached to both boxes.
Is it possible to get this data from the
standard SNMP agent?

Re: Increasing system information available via SNMP
I am using MRTG. You need to supply the correct OID values. An snmpwalk will only provide the standard OID values if the HP-UX MIB file is not applied in the snmpwalk. MRTG uses snmpget in the .cfg files. You only need the absolute OIDs for querying ie.
CPU Load: 1.3.6.1.4.1.11.2.3.1.1.3.0
Free Memory: 1.3.6.1.4.1.11.2.3.1.1.7.0
Free Swap: 1.3.6.1.4.1.11.2.3.1.1.12.0
No. of Current Processes: 1.3.6.1.4.1.11.2.3.1.4.1.0
Hope this helps. Regards.

Re: Increasing system information available via SNMP
I have attached the HP-UX MIB file. You will have to read through it to identify the OIDs relevant to your cause.
Hope this helps. Regards.

Re: Increasing system information available via SNMP
But, the querent mentioned an FC60. I also have an FC60 and receive alerts about it from EMS.
Where can I find a mib for EMS, please ?
and/or for HP Laserjets ?
