Re: INETD_ARGS

I am not getting you. What service is failing, not starting? And what is the error message?

Re: INETD_ARGS

Hi,

Can you look at your /etc/rc.log and search for 'inetd'. You should see a line that says "Start Internet services daemon" and probably some errors below it.

Re: INETD_ARGS

Hi,

do you have Start-Script Links?

cd /sbin
find rc[123].d -name "*inet*"
rc1.d/K500inetd
rc1.d/K565inetsvcs
rc2.d/S500inetd
rc2.d/S535inetsvcs

Re: INETD_ARGS

Hi,

Also check the /var/adm/syslog/syslog.log file because as a service is activated via inetd, it logs to the syslog.log file.
