Inof on awk Compiler awkc

Hi Folks !

I've been told about an awkc compiler to compile .awk code in order to increase performances.

I don't know much about it, and I would appreciate you shedding some lights on this matter (if shareware, where to donwload, perf. increase figures)

I'm running HP-UX 11.i on an rp8400 series.
