Install and configure IMAP SERVER on HP-UX

Hi!

I would like to install and configure IMAP Server on HP-UX 11.0. Can somebody help me!

First you have to pick one and download it.

HP has at least one (cyrus) built into its Internet Express program.

Normatlly this is available at the site that you transfer to after going to http://softare.hp.com

That site is not working for me here at the other end of the deep blue see.

So Download it:

swinsatll -s /tmp/Internet_express cyrus

change cyrus to the exact name of the depot within Internet Express and use a real path for Internet express.

After installation there will be a configuration file in /etc depending on which imap server you used.

You edit that file to taste.

The imap server will create a new file in /sbin/init.d/

/sbin/init.d/cyrus stop
/sbin/init.d/cyrus start
