HI,
I had install hp-ux11.0 in b2600 , when I intalled the third cd , at the fist reboot , system could not biuld kernel , so the system reboot at all time ,at the begining install had a error :
‘could not open kernel symbol table’

What media are you using?
You need at a minimum July 2001 media to build an 11.00 kernel for this machine. Preferably you have more recent media than that.

You also need a few megabytes in the /stand filesystem to actually compile a kernel. It needs to be HFS or you're done.

I strongly recommend latest install media as well.

Is there any hardware problem.But this seems to be the install processfailure only.Try using the latest CD.Check for Disks too.
