install goes straight into recovery console menu
I've search the forum and can't find any soluton yet. I have a b2600. I boot off the 11i v1 cd, enter the usb keyboard type when prompted and instead of stopping at the menu to choose install, it starts the recovery console automatically.
I've tried setting alt path to IDE and booting that but same results. I'm using hyperterminal from a pc set to vt100, 9600,N,8,1. Also tried with and without the keyboard plugged in.
Any suggestions?

Re: install goes straight into recovery console menu
Hi Scott,
This is because the Microsfot hyperterminal program. It is not a 100% VT100 compatiable terminal simulator.
I recommend SecureCRT, or you can connect a monitor to this workstation if it has a video card.
Do a search on google for SecureCRT and you will find it.
thanks
