Install HP-UX 11.00 I/O error (5)

Hi.
I have one N4000 and I'm doing a new installation of HP-UX 11.00 (2002). I boot from CDrom and I complete all the previous steps. When the installation process is running one error appear:

Installing fileset "OS-CORE.CORE2-KRN, r=B.11.00" /tmp/ing_configure/SD_CDROM/OS_Core/CORE2-KRN/usr/conf/gen/config.sys"
I/O error(5) cannot copy it to file "/usr/conf/gen/config.sys".

I ran the installation process one more time, only with default parameters but the result was the same.
Any know what happened?

Might be bad install media.

Check with a different CD set. Also, see how many disks are available in the Ignite Install interface. Make sure all disks you expect are present are actually there and you have not altered the install programs recommendations for filesystem size.

The default value for /usr is way too small. You'll need to make it larger, if for nothing else, to load patch bundles. It's also cumbersome to increase /usr after the system is up since so many startup process run from here.

I think the CD media you are using is having some issues ,you would want to try and use a different media set, also make sure the /usr filesystem size is large enough(2GB something like that, hope you are not using the defualt install).
