Install HP-UX 11i PC and download

Hi ,

I am new hear and HP-UX world but I am working on Solaris. I have some questions

a) For my test purpose on which hardware I install HP-UX (can be installed on PC if not which is suitable and easily available on ebay.com.au..am in australia or other place

b) Can I download the HP-UX 11i free like solaris ?

a) you are going to need hp hardware. I am not sure of your needs, but you can get a visualize workstation for pretty cheap off of ebay.

b) HP-UX is not free.

HPUX doesn't run an a PC

I Only want for testing (simple workstation)..if I will in sun say ultra 5 or blade 100/150.

Hi,

a HP-UX workstation B1000 is roughly comparable with a SUN Ultra5/10, I think.
