Installation HP UX 11i to D370

I try to install HP UX 11i
I got > mainmenu
I do search to find CD/DVD
I see that CD/DVD is 5
I put the CD 1 of HP UX 11I
When I try to BO P5
I get the answer :
This is no boot path
What you think about this ?
Is the CD media failed ?
I have 4 CD to install

You may not have installed a late enough version of firmware on your D-box. You may have bad install media and I have seen a few cases where "BOOT P5" would fail but "Boot 8/8.5.2" (or whatever device path is listed will work.

If that D370 is on its original hardware, it can only accept a CD based, not DVD based installation.

Though the DVD will fit, the system can't read that format.

I suspect if its not firmware, its the drive.

You should look at the thing. If it does not say DVD, it can't read the media.

You could also boot it back to its current OS and ioscan -fnC disk
