Hi I have purchased a new HP rp 2470 server & now I want to install it. Pls. tell me how could I install it, because that server have not a graphics card so Pls. tell me how could I Install it without graphics card.

the rp2400 series provides an RS232 port to use for ASCII Terminal Console connection. Any vt100-capable terminal or emulator can be used as a local system console.
Hi pls. tell me how can see the display of that server to remote m/c or terminal what type of cable I need for that & in which port I connect that cable between two m/c . what are the commands I have type on on that terminalor remote m/c to divert that display on remote m/c.
OS is preinstalled when u purchase it. Anyway you will be having CD set of HP UX 11i cds.Just go through it. Boot from CD and follow the instructions.You can do the same using any terminal emulator like hyper terminal. Connect serial port to server and PC. The serial cable must be supplied with server only. If not speak to HP engineer. Also inform , from which part of India you are and give your phone number....
I thinks what the product number of the serial cable is identical for all product (24542g 9 to 25). I chek it for direct connection or not (think not direct 2-3-7 to 3-2-7). In a server you have one com port 9 pin when you turn on the server the console is automatically redirect in a terminal. For a command for boot select after inital test the path hardware of you cd-rom (if your server is new in a internal disc there is a Hp-ux autoinstall installed) In the afternoon I check the cable for a pin-configuration
