Installing Emulex FC on HP-UX
Hy Guys
I try to install a Emulex FC on HP-UX 11.23 server, but when I ran ioscan, this card appear on "unknown" state. I suppose this is a driver missing problem, but where can I download the correct depot to install this card. The model FC card is Emulex 401918-001. Previosly I validate that this card is supported for HPUX.
Thanks in Advanced.

Re: Installing Emulex FC on HP-UX
The driver can only work with supported cards, here is a list:

Hope this helps!

Torsten.

Re: Installing Emulex FC on HP-UX
Not certain if the posted URL discusses this but... 99 times out of 10 an HP supplied driver for a given sort of I/O card will only claim cards with HP-specific subvendor/subproduct IDs corresponding to the devices which have actually been tested on HP-UX by HP.
