installing Gnome on hp-ux

I'm trying to install Gnome 1.0.55 on my hp-ux workstation:
HP-UX st4 B.10.20 A 9000/785 2016448991 two-user license.
I got the binaries from hpux software porting centre but gnome dosn't work correctly: the panel was empty and I found this message:
No system menus found.
Now I'm trying to compile the source:
configure --disable-gtktest seems to work but
make crashes while:
Making all in gnome-info2html:

/usr/ccs/bin/ld: Can't find library for -lSM
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
*** Error exit code 1

Somone can help me?
