Installing libstdc++ on HP-UX
Hello Harry , I write you because Ana Maria from DSPP gave me your e-mail.
I need to install the library libstdc++ on the HP Integrity, but I don't know if it exists precompiled on HP-UX.
I haven't seen this library for HP-UX, but it exists precompiled for Linux, Solaris, Windows.. Do I need to download the source code and compile it? Maybe I can download this library precompiled on other platform, would it work?

Re: Installing libstdc++ on HP-UX
Hi,
and welcome to the forums !
I believe you should be able to get libstdc++ as part of gcc.
http://hpux.connect.org.uk/hppd/cgi-bin/wwwtar?/hpux/Gnu/libgcc-4.1.2/libgcc-4.1.2-hppa-11.23.depot.gz

Re: Installing libstdc++ on HP-UX
Have you looked at DSPP for GCC?

>Maybe I can download this library precompiled on other platform, would it work?
Not hardly. I don't think they are cross compilers and there sure isn't a cross linker.
You could also look for gcc here:
