Installing MirrorDisk UX

I have just received the 11i disks, can somebody tell me which CD MirrorDisk UX is on?

Have you Oredered Mirror UX ?

If you have ordered the Mirror UX there will be codeword request form came with the shipment . Register it and while registering it will ask you the CD part no ...and from the you can install using #swinstall -> add codeword....

Hi Mike,

The Mirror/UX is not a freeware. You have to purchase it from HP. If you have done this already, then HP will send you a license certificate. This certificate will have the CD part number and the codeword for enabling the software.

If you have all these in hand, then open swinstall - actions - add new codeword. After adding the codeword, you can mount the CD ( refer the CD part number, normally Application CD no-1) and it will list you Mirror/UX software there. You can start installing then.

Just one other thought. Just remember that after installing the MirrorDisk/UX software the system will require a reboot in order to use it.

Which release of 11i have you purchase? There is 3 different operating environments:
11i operating environment
11i Enterprise operating environment
11i Mission critical operating environment.

Mirrordisk UX is now include on the last 2 operating environment but not on the first one. And it should be on the second installation CD.
