installing nashuatec printer in hp-ux

Hi Iam new to hp-ux and I trie to install
a Nashuatec dsm 627 printer with sam.

I go to lp spooler > printer&plotters > actions > add network based printer > Spooler Administration > add printer to the local spooler.
I am asked to give the network/printer ip adres.
When do this and give an enter, the system can't ping the printer.

If I ping this printer from the command line I have no problem.

If I install a hp4100 printer this way, then I have no problems.
who can help me out?

Hi,

This problem can be solved if you can download and install the hppi software for managing your network printers.
When you install through hppi, you can even ignore the errors like "unknown printer" or "not reachable", and continue with the installation. You have to select the model option number 57 for your dsm 627 printer. I am not actually getting the link where you can download hppi from.
