Installing Plotter/Plotter on HP Visualize C3000

Hi,
I am having a HP c3000 visulaize workstation.
Running HP-UX 10.20
I need to install HP deskjet 750C plus
plotter.

I have already installed HP Jetadmin on the
system.

But now i dont have any clue how to
install/configure HP Plotter on it.

Please tell me how should i proceed.

I have a 750C connected in parallel on a B2000, and I have already configured some other printers with JetAdmin, so may be I can help.

If your 750C is not far from you C3000, I recommend to connect it directly in parallel. It is the easiest.

If you prefer to connect it with JetAdmin, launch the configurator in a terminal :

run /opt/hpnpl/admin/hppi
MAIN MENU :
2) JetDirect Configuration (super-user only)
1) Create printer configuration in BOOTP/TFTP database

Other optional parameters :
0) Done! Start creating configuration


MAIN MENU :
1) Configuration
3) Add printer to local spooler
1) Lp destination (queue) name : ( exemple : jdex3)
0) Done. Make configuration now!

Hi,
The easiest way is to use SAM. Start SAM, select Printers and Plotters. From the Action menu, select Add Network-based Printer/Plotter.

I am not sure if there is a specific model script for the 750 plotter but, if not, select the HP-GL 2 model.
