Installing sudo
Hi there --
I just completed installing HP-UX 11.00 and would like to have sudo capability, speficically the visudo utility, made available. What package or depot should I install to make this possible? Thanks.

Re: Installing sudo
Hi Andrew,
Here's 1.6.8p12
http://hpux.cs.utah.edu/hppd/hpux/Sysadmin/sudo-1.6.8p12/
And 1.6.8p9
http://hpux.cs.utah.edu/hppd/hpux/Sysadmin/sudo-1.6.8p9/
Unfortunately they're only compiled for 11iv1 & 11iv2 so you'll have to pick up the source there & compile it for 11.0 yourself.
HTH,
Jeff

Re: Installing sudo
Hi Andrew,
You need to install "sudo" depot for getting visudo and sudo. You can download and install from,
http://hpux.connect.org.uk/hppd/hpux/Sysadmin/sudo-1.6.8p12/

Re: Installing sudo
You might find it easier to use the HP package from:
http://h20293.www2.hp.com/portal/swdepot/displayProductInfo.do?productNumber=HPUXIEXP1111
sudo is always packaged with visudo. The HP site as well as the package's README file will give you great details on installation.
