We have two vPars created in a Superdome Npar.
Can I have different patch bundle installed in each vPars.
Precisely:
vPar1 - with Dec-04 hardware enablement patch bundle
vPar2 - with Dec-05 hardware enablement patch bundle
Thanks in advance
Manoj

SolutionAccording to this doc http://h20338.www2.hp.com/hpux11i/downloads/vPars_Intro_WP_26Aug05_final.pdf#search=%22two%20vpars%20different%20patching%22
on page 11 you are able to run even different patch levels on the vpar.
Regards,
jaime.

Re: Installing vPar subsystem patch.
Thanks for all your valued information.
I have got this doubt because there are many vPar related patches included in hardware enablement patch bundle.
I think, I will have to check specifically for vPar monitor patch in the hardware enablement patch bundle.
If it has any then I will have to install bundle on both vPar.
I have another doubt, do I need to restart 1st vPar in stand-alone mode to install hardware enablement patch?
Thanks and regards
Manoj

Re: Installing vPar subsystem patch.
You can install HW enable Patch in vpar environment not to take that in potential Environment(NON-VPAR)
Cheers
