Lately, we've gotten in a number of HP systems that were instantly ignited from HP. This helped us get the systems up and running and deployed to our customers. However, now, I am noticing things like the "vxsvc" process eating up a bunch of memory. I believe this to be associated with the Veritas VxVM base product which is installed.
Anyway, my question is this. When you get a system "instant ignited", what can you safely get rid of, if you aren't going to use the Veritas product?
Thanks for your help.

Solution
Yes.
Remove the Veritas vxvm product from the a system. Use that system to create a new golden image.
Then systems distributed based on that system will not have the vxvm product.
You should be able to use swermove to get vxvm off your system, but it will require a boot.
