As far as I am concerned (my personal view - not HP's!), I would remove such an inferior
operating system from all companies. Do

Operating systems that require massive
support work daily are not my preference.
I am positive, however, that Integrity VM
guests will support it at some stage.

At first release of V4 of HP Integrity Virtual Machines, OpenVMS and WIN2k8 are not supported, but support is planned for a future dat, which we cannot give you now.
To use V4 on HP-UX 11iv3 Host, you will need to update or install the Host to the September 2008 OS media release.

Did I understand this right? This does not seem possible to me....

That is, that HP's 11i v3 Data Center Operating Environment (DCOE) - which includes the 11i v3 Virtual Server Environment (VSE) - does not include Integrity VMs?

How could 11i VSE not include HP VM?

Or is HP VSE and HP VM and Integrity VM all different products?

Is this why I can't find anything to create and populate /opt/hpvm/bin?

correct, becuase it has not yet been released for HP_UX 11iv3 as a VM Host, so the software is not yet on these OE's. This will change with the 0809 release
