Integrity VM supported OS

Can Integrity VM 3.5 support non-Itanium Windows or does it need to be MS Windows Itanium ?

I'm at the efi shell of a new VM and it's not booting so am wondering if this is the case....

Re: Integrity VM supported OS

You'll need Itanium Windows could.
VMS presents a virtual machine, which looks and feels like the raw underlying machine (with configuration restrictions). So it still presents and Itanium, and that's the code you'll need.

Hello,

you need to have 64-bit edition of Windows, Itanium version. x86 version of Windows won't work neither with Integrity Virtual Machines nor physical Integrity servers.

Hein,

I know thats wishful thinking on your part, but of course it's HP-UX which runs the hypervisor layer not VMS!

VMS...

Oops yeah.

When I type VM, it is often follewed by an S.
Where I meant VM.

The Hypervisor is HPUX, which is fine by me.
As long as OpenVMS is a valid guest, and it is.
