Re: Internal temperature in a K200 box.
The previous doesn't seem to have pasted well.
DETAILS:
=======
The normal operating temperature for K-Class systems is 41 to 91 degrees
Faherheit (+5 to +40 degrees Celsius).
Over temperature first warning will begin at:
95 degrees Farenheit (+35 degrees Celsius)
Over temperature second warning (Emergency Warning) begins at:
104 degrees Farehheit (+40 degrees Celsius)
Over temperature hardware shutdown will occur at:
109 degrees Farenheit (+43 degrees Celsius)
...this from document "HP9000/K-CLASS: What Happens if an Over-temperature State Occurs?", dated March 11, 1999, documentID=pamKC03111

SolutionThere is no command to read the internal temperature sensor (a LM35 located on the power monitor) If the temperature reached the defined threshold triggers the power monitor a certain interrupt. That happens for all temperature thresholds.
