Hi,
Thanks for the info, the HIDS installation itself seems to need to change/increase the kernel. Is this safe? I've HP OMU software installed in the server, will it have any impact on the software?

Also it said that /stand doesn't have enough space, can we extend the /stand online? Have you guys done it before?

Hi,

I used it in HP-UX 11iv1, I can say no need to readjust kernel parameters as far as remember, during the surveillance mode , I mean in monitoring mode ; CPU utility is good.(But I say according to experienced by 11i v1)
And very useful security tool, works perfect.

Just the installation itself is trying to change the kernel, for HP-UX 11.31. I think I need to read more already, as you said there is no need to change kernel.

Yes, exactly it is what I want to say. Some kernel changes, creating special user "ids" ..
