Ioctl status for DLPI....

Does anybody knows what this message is:

bootpd: Ioctl status for DLPI_SET_RIF_OFF was -1, errno = 6

I am getting it in syslog..

Not 'exactly'.

I can say that ioctl() is an ansiC call that can get information on special character files (device files) as well as regular files/directories on Vxfs files. And I can say that DLPI is Dynamic Link Provider Interface. Usually you might use this to try and determine the mac address of the lan card being used.
Sooo...maybe someone was running a program to try and do this.
