ioscan couldn't find CD-ROM

as title, ioscan -fnC disk
can't find CD-ROM, does anyone know
how to troubleshut it?

If it does not find it now, was it visible before. Try this:

# ioscan -fnkC disk

The best test I can think of is to insert a CD into the drive and see if you can actually mount a CD using this CD-Rom drive.

If not, I would say that you have a bad CDROM drive or something wrong somewhere in the SCSI chain that this CD is attached on.

STM is an acronym for "Support Tools Manager"

XSTM uses a graphical user interface (GUI)
MSTM uses a character based menu interface
CSTN uses the command line where you can certain options. There is a man pages explaining this particular set of tools.

Did you find your CDROM hardware?

No, i can not find CD-ROM.
Is is possible CD-ROM device bad?

Can you post a copy of the 'ioscan -fnkC disk' and 'ioscan -fnC disk' output please?

Was the CD drive connected to the system during the boot time?

Just check whether the CD drive is powered on.
