ioscan hangs - All disk check out OK.
Reading up on a hung ioscan here seems to point to a disk or SCSI bus problem.
I get no error messages from the syslog, dmesg shows no errors, and all the disk pass stm, diskinfo, and even dd, even the tape drive works and I get no write or read errors.
The only thing that has increased was the seek errors went from 12 to 13, which is a very low number.
With this problem I can not do an ignite backup, and rebuilding this production would be very time consuming and make the wrong people unhappy.
Any other suggestions in troubleshooting to identify the cause?
Basic L2000 system, 4 disk, CDROM, Tape drive.

echo 2400?20X | adb /dev/dsk/c2t2d0
you have to see some non zero blocks, like this:
2400: 44454645 43543031 0 0
0 0 0 0
0 0 0 0
0 0 0 0
0 0 0 0
if you see mıre than non-zero blocks mean that disk has Bad Blocks ,and probably needs changing.
