IP_LAYER Monitoring:HP MCSG cluster

Hi Team,

 

we have few HP MCSG Cluster (hpux 11.31) causing intermittent downtime due to ip_layer monitoring (target polling fail intermittenly due to network choke) and we are  planning to disable IP_LAYER Monitoring ..

 

i want to know what are the pros and cons of disabling IP_monitor monitoring in service guard ? how its going to impact my cluster failovers if i disable ip_monitor
