Is Perl 5.6 supported under HP-UX

Does anyone know if Perl 5.6 supported under 10.20. We're trying to standardize across all platforms Solaris, NT (activestate 5.6) If its not then what are the difference between 5.005 and 5.6

Thanks.

Re: Is Perl 5.6 supported under HP-UX

Keith,

I don't know whether it is officially supported or approved by HP, but I know for sure that it can be compiled and executes successfully.
I got the stable tarball from
http://www.cpan.org/src/index.html
which holds the latest stable Perl sources (Perl 5.6) and copiled this using gcc and the binutils from the Ports mirrors mentioned above.
Good luck
