Is SAM done in ncurses?
Can anyone tell me if sam is done in ncurses? I would like to create a similar menuing system for my systems.

Hello Craig,
Did you know that sam has an option where you can build your own menus in sam. You can even assign root privledges to a script if needed.

Thanks for the reply. Yes I am aware of this. I need to make a custom setup though so I would prefer to do it myself.

SAM switched to ObAM (object action manager) back in the early 1990's which provides API's to handle layered menus. Here is a reference from an HP Journal article:
